Fresh off the announcement of his debut album, Baker Boy has hit us with another taste of what’s to come. With his trademark bilingual bars, ‘Butterflies’ swaggers onto the dancefloor atop a heavy dose of live percussion. It’s a track that’s all about the thrill of the chase, according to Baker Boy, “’Butterflies’ is all about word play and bringing in different flavours and energy! It’s about chasing that feeling and being addicted to the adrenaline rush. You know, I wanted this track to kind of be adaptable so different people can feel it differently when they hear it. It could be about chasing love, chasing that adrenaline rush, chasing fame, chasing that feeling of being on stage. It could be about anything!’” Baker Boy’s joyful full length LP Gela is out in less than a month’s time on Friday October 15th. ‘Butterflies’ is the sixth track released off the upcoming album, which will include singles ‘Cool As Hell’, ‘Meditjin feat. JessB’, ‘Move’, ‘Ride feat. Yirrmal’ and ‘My Mind feat. G Flip’.

Gela is available for pre-order now in limited edition transparent gold and yellow vinyl and CD, alongside limited edition merch. The album is also available on a limited run, signed orange cassette tape. All pre-orders can enter a competition to win a signed yidaki (didgeridoo) that Baker Boy used on tour and a custom rug.
