Recorded in late February 2020 at the Iconic Westlake Studio’s in Los Angeles, The Slow Rush: A Deep Dive with Kevin Parker delivers a rare insight into one of the world’s best contemporary songwriting and producing brains. Taped in the afterglow of the album’s release, the conversation chronicles the first time Parker opened his laptop to dissect the tracks. During the in-depth chat, experience The Slow Rush album from a different perspective as Parker shares his approach to writing, recording, production; and the sentiments and stories behind the songs including Glimmer,Breathe Deeper, One More Year, One More Hour and Borderline.

The Slow Rush has achieved Gold accreditation in Australia, with singles Borderline claiming Platinum and Lost In Yesterday Gold status.
On March 26, Parker will unveil the InnerSpeaker 10 Year Anniversary Edition. The deluxe, 4LP reissue features the singles Solitude Is Bliss, Lucidity, Expectation amongst the original album track list, plus a collage of album sketches, an unearthed, side-long jam, New mixes of tracks from the original album, instrumentals and a deluxe 40-page booklet.
Tame Impala recently landed three tracks in the triple j hottest 100 (Lost In Yesterday #5, Is It True#17 and Breathe Deeper #33) which follows on from Parker’s ARIA Awards haul, taking home Album of the Year, Best Group, Best Rock Album, Engineer of the Year and Producer of the Year. Tame Impala is also nominated for two GRAMMY Awards for Best Alternative Album and Best Rock Song for the single Lost In Yesterday. This marks the third nomination in the Alternative category for Parker, having previously been nominated for Currents and Lonerism. Parker was nominated for two Billboard Music Awards and an American Music Award (AMA).
Thanks to the ravenous demand of fans for a transcendent live performance, Tame Impala has headlined festivals and theatres around the world and released four full length albums – InnerSpeaker, Lonerism, Currents and The Slow Rush. Ahead of the Tame Impala headline tour of Australia and New Zealand this December, Tame Impala Sound System will perform their first ever live shows at Perth’s Metro city on March 5 and 6.
